Red Stick Schools Guide Celebrates 2nd Edition

New Schools for Baton Rouge, partner collaboration offers online resource for quality school options

The New Schools for Baton Rouge (NSBR) team celebrated the second edition of the Red Stick Schools Guide with an announcement on ____. The collaborative, multi-partner project provides families with access to up-to-date, comprehensive information about school options in Baton Rouge.The guide will continue to provide profiles for all educational institutions, including district, private, charter and Catholic schools. Red Stick Schools Guide will be distributed across Baton Rouge and will be complemented by informational parent workshops, hosted by NSBR partners, which will include _____, _______, _____, and ____, to name a few. Workshop information will be announced through NSBR's website, as well as through the nonprofit's social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter.

The comprehensive resource for families will provide a much-needed tool for accessing Baton Rouge's school options. Over the past few years, the educational landscape in Baton Rouge experienced a renaissance, leading to the addition of many quality institutions. With new options came new challenges: parents were left to maneuver additional school options unaided, which proved overwhelming to even the most informed individuals.New Schools for Baton Rouge announced a solution to this issue in 2017 via the Red Stick Schools Guide and redstickschools.org, a school choice resource guide developed as a collaborative, multi-partner project aided in part by Mayor Sharon Weston Broome.
